oak, steel, concrete, leather

Through a baroque courtyard on Tuchlauben, one can recently reach the small goldsmith's workshop of Katie G. Together with Gerd Zehetner of Archiguards, we realized a flexible furnishing concept for the new sales room. The venerable vaults demanded a sensitive approach to the existing structure - all wall design literally hangs on a circumferential railing, which is only connected to the masonry at a few points and integrates indirect lighting. Freestanding desks made of steel are used for consultation and detailed examination of the jewelry. They can be equipped and grouped in different ways with lamps as well as additional tables, cuboids of exposed concrete provide the necessary mass for a stable base. A drawer made of oiled oak stores gauges and fine tools.
