kitchen / 1140 Vienna

material: oak, steel, concrete, limestone, eternit panels

Practical use - simple in expression
Concrete on top provides a tough work surface, while oak and steel alternate as construction and cladding materials. Continuous handle mouldings for drawers form strong gaps in the wooden surface of the substructure. The horizontal segmentation of the long body quietly underestimates the functionality of this workplace and at the same time leads through the room. The limestone lined back wall acts as an independent zone and rounds off the simple yet playful character of the ensemble. Movable elements made of black sheet steel function as sliding doors for the solid oak rear buffet.
