The Phonocut prototype was developed as a display for a completely new record format. Steel gives a touch of grace, while the upper part is made of oak and features high-quality audio equipment. Precisely placed openings integrate the user interface and invite music lovers to browse and listen to the rarities. 

A narrow arcade rooflight serves the functional aspect as well as the visual appearance of this furniture.
