writing station / 25hours Munich

material: steel, oak, leather

Whether handwritten or typed on a typewriter, this ensemble in the lobby of the 25h Hotel tempts you to send analog greetings. A slightly flared frame made of tubular steel forms the basis for a solid oak top. This is framed by delicate borders and divided into three work areas. Recessed leather marks the place for the typewriter. Elongated slots at the back organize stationery and envelopes. The front end is formed by the so-called Runserl - an elongated, concave depression in the wood that flatters the heel of the hand. As the last station before the mailbox, this desk serves to refine the already noble letters. Neatly sorted, it houses stamps, punch numbers and pens to give the letter the finishing touch.
