As a wooden oscillogram, the lamellar structure of saw-timbered larch fits discreetly but definitely into the inner courtyard of the Viennese WUK. The elegantly laid-out construction serves as a versatile seating area and at the same time forms a visual barrier to the underlying surface on which the waste containers are located. If the ten-metre-long structure were to be used for public viewing in summer, it would provide much sought-after seats for spectators.
